It doesn't look like people recognize them, though. Freddy Fender had a couple hits back in the 70's, like "Before the Next Teardrop Falls" and "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights". If you don't recognize the titles, I bet you'd recognize the music. He's a South Texas tejano/country music staple. And yes, the hair is biblical.
