“Mungo Jerry” is a character in the musical “Cats.” Featured in the song “Mungo Jerry & Rumpleteaser.” Creepy man named after a cat… from a musical…hmm… From what I recall, those particular cats were also kleptomaniacs.
Did his agent tell him to capitalize on the success of a musical featuring kleptomaniac felines and song titles that sound like films found on the seedy side of corner video rental shops??? Time to find a new manager.
