Exercise Cat

January 7, 2009

Cat, the other white meat.

Mmmm, kitty veal.

For a moment there at the end I thought he was licking himself.

For some reason, the cat reminds me of Orson Wells.

Check out that eyebrow at 15 seconds! Awesome…

The band that did the song in the background had an awesome year – Microsoft uses the tune, VW uses the tune…. and then this???

I wasn’t sure what to say so I Google searched worst diet ever and found someone’s heart wrenching story:
The worst for me was the Beverly Hills Diet. It was like food combining and “cleansing with fruit”. But what was so awful about it was that some days, all you could eat was strawberries. As much strawberries as you wanted, but nothing else. Then the next day would be watermelon – I ate like a whole fricking watermelon that day and was hungry all the time. Then the next day would be all grapes… It went on like that for 2 weeks before you got to eat an actual meal, which was I think 4 ounces of steak, a small boiled potato and a green salad. And it was the BEST meal I’d ever had because I’d been eating nothing but fruit for so long. It made me dread to be awake, I’d be like, “OK, so today is pineapple day. Great.” I lost 15 pounds in a month and then gained 25 the next month.

I sure used to do some crazy things to try to lose weight…

How is this romance gone bad? You guys can get pretty desperate.

Check out 22 seconds in… Only an obsessive crush could possibly motivate that obese kitty.

Let me again state for the record that the Regrettable Music Founders Resolution Against Interspecies Dating did pass by a unanimous vote. The vote on the Resolution Against Obese Cats isn’t until next week…. will keep you posted.

I’d hate to see the hairballs that chubby kitty hacks out of his jaw.

Ben,
The band is Trio – the track Da Da Da – 1982.
They were such a minimalist band but quite hip under the pop surface. Influenced by the Residents and punk in general. The drummer had a great face and always got the side-glance shots in their videos.
i liked the followup Bum Bum (Boom Boom) as well.
Yes, they played live gigs too. Wish I was their roadie! Now, that would be a great book, Memoirs of a Minimal Pop Roadie.
